Authors submitting to the Academic Research Journal of Science and Technology (ARJST) must transparently declare any potential conflicts of interest that could sway the interpretation or presentation of their findings. These conflicts, whether financial, professional, or personal, can compromise the integrity of the research.
This includes, but is not limited to, accepting funding from entities with a vested interest in the research outcomes, holding positions (employment, consultancy, advisory) within relevant organizations, possessing patents or significant stock ownership in associated companies, or any other personal or professional ties that might introduce bias.
A dedicated “Competing Interests Statement” is mandatory for all submissions. If no conflicts exist, authors should clearly state: “The authors declare that there are no competing interests related to this work.” Non-disclosure may lead to manuscript rejection or article retraction. ARJST adheres to COPE guidelines on conflicts of interest and research transparency.
