DOAJ Journal Profile Description

Journal Title: Academic Research Journal of Science and Technology (ARJST)

Provider: Nallamuthu Gounder Mahalingam College

Aims & Scope: The Academic Research Journal of Science and Technology (ARJST) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to the multidisciplinary study of Science and Technology Studies (STS). Our mission is to provide a global platform for scholars to examine science and technology as socio-material phenomena, focusing on their historical development, contemporary impacts, and the social structures that govern knowledge production.

ARJST invites original research that bridges the gap between technology and the humanities, incorporating perspectives from sociology, anthropology, philosophy, political science, and communication studies. We are particularly interested in manuscripts that explore expertise, scientific controversies, and the methodological evolution of STS interventions.

Open Access Statement: ARJST is a Diamond Open Access journal, meaning it does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APCs) or submission fees. In accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), all content is freely available without charge to the user or their institution. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author, provided the original source is cited.

Review Process: To ensure the highest scholarly standards, ARJST employs a double-blind peer-review process. Every submission undergoes initial editorial screening followed by evaluation by at least two independent subject-matter experts.
