Online Skill Development Training on Sangam Literature
Kalanjiyam International Tamil Journal and the Pandian Education Foundation are pleased to announce a joint online skill development training program designed for teachers and research students. The program, titled “Notes and Symbols in Sangam Literature,” aims to enhance understanding and teaching methodologies related to this significant body of Tamil literature.
The training will focus on the five genres (tinai) of Sangam literature: Kurinji (mountainous landscapes), Mullai (pastoral landscapes), Marutham (agricultural landscapes), Neythal (coastal landscapes), and Palai (arid landscapes). Each day, distinguished guest speakers will delve into one of these genres, providing insightful lectures on the associated notes, symbols, and their interpretations within the respective thematic frameworks.
