✨ ARJST Author Guidelines: A Quick-Reference Guide ✨
Welcome to the Academic Research Journal of Science and Technology (ARJST)! We have summarized our guidelines below to ensure a smooth, compliant, and efficient submission process.
Ⅰ. Navigating the Review Process
Your manuscript will undergo a rigorous, multi-stage evaluation.
➡️ The Submission Flow
- Initial Assessment: An editor determines if the submission meets the aims and scope of ARJST.
- Peer Review: Suitable manuscripts are sent to external reviewers.
- Final Decision: Acceptance or rejection is determined based on peer review feedback.
Ⅱ. ⚠️ Mandatory Pre-Submission Requirements
Before clicking ‘submit,’ authors are legally and ethically obligated to ensure the following fundamental criteria are met:
A. Legal & Permissions (The “Must-Haves”)
| Symbol | Requirement | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| 🖼️ | Material Permission | Authors must obtain permission to publish all included materials (e.g., photos, documents, datasets) that are not original to the work. |
| 👥 | Author Consent | All individuals identified as authors must review and consent to being listed as an author. |
| 🔬 | Ethics Approval | Research must be approved by the appropriate ethics committee, adhering to the legal requirements of the study’s country. |
B. Manuscript Quality (Avoiding Desk-Reject)
An editor reserves the right to 🚫 Desk Reject a submission if it fails to meet minimum quality standards. Ensure your work is highly structured and clearly articulated:
- Structure: Study design and research argument must be structured properly.
- Title: Should be clear and concise.
- Abstract: Must be a standalone summary that encapsulates the entire work. (This increases the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to assess the paper.)
Ⅲ. 📜 ARJST Publication Ethics Pledge (COPE Adherence)
ARJST strictly adheres to the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
| Symbol | Policy | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| ✅ | Approval | Submitting signifies that all authors have reviewed, approved the content, and comply with all journal policies. |
| 📝 | Originality | Submissions must be original and free of plagiarism (including self-plagiarism). |
| 🚫 | Exclusivity | The manuscript must not be under consideration elsewhere. Submission to other journals is prohibited until formal decline by ARJST. |
| ✉️ | Editorial Rights | The Managing Editors (ME) reserve the right to accept or reject any submitted material. |
| 🛑 | Retraction | The journal reserves the right to retract works that breach research and publication ethics after publication. |
| ⚖️ | Views | Published works reflect the views of the authors, not necessarily those of the editors. |
Ⅳ. ✔️ Submission Preparation Checklist
To prepare for submission, follow these steps. Submissions failing to meet these points will be returned for revisions.
