Guest-edited collections under the same standards as every other issue.
Last reviewed: November 2026 · ARJST · ISSN 3048-9644 (Online)
Editorial oversight
- The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the content of every special issue, which must fall within the journal’s aims and scope.
- Guest editors’ credentials are checked and approved by the Editor-in-Chief before a call for papers is announced.
- The Editor-in-Chief or a designated board member oversees the guest editors throughout.
Peer review
Special-issue papers receive exactly the same external double-blind review by at least two independent reviewers as regular papers. Papers submitted by guest editors are handled independently by another editor and make up no more than 25% of the special issue.
Labelling and fees
Special-issue articles are clearly labelled with the special-issue title. There are no fees for special-issue authors, as for all ARJST articles.
Published special issues
Special issues are labelled in the archives and among the previous issues on OJS.
