📝 Author Guidelines

1. 📂 Submission Preparation

Before submitting, ensure your work follows our Two-File Policy to facilitate double-blind review:

  • File A: Title Page — Includes the full title, all author names, affiliations, ORCID iDs, and acknowledgments.

  • File B: Anonymized Manuscript — The complete paper without any author-identifying information.

2. 📏 General Formatting Requirements

Authors are required to use the ARJST Word Template to ensure consistent layout.

  • File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx).

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12pt for body text; 14pt (Bold) for headings.

  • Spacing: Double-spaced throughout (including references).

  • Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.

  • Page Numbers: Top right corner.

  • Word Count: 4,000–8,000 words (including references and tables).

3. 📑 Manuscript Structure

Every submission must include the following elements in order:

  1. Title: Concise and informative (Max 15 words).

  2. Abstract: A single paragraph (200–250 words) summarizing the objective, method, results, and conclusion.

  3. Keywords: 5–7 terms for indexing, separated by semicolons (;).

  4. Main Body: Typically organized as Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion.

  5. References: Comprehensive list of all cited works.

🖋️ 4. APA 7th Edition Style Guide

ARJST strictly follows the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th Edition style for citations and formatting.

In-Text Citations

  • One Author: (Vijayakumar, 2024)

  • Two Authors: (Malathi & Ramadevi, 2024)

  • Three or More Authors: (Archanaa et al., 2024)

Reference List Examples

  • Journal Article: Author, A. A., & Author, B. B. (Year). Title of article. Title of Journal, Volume(Issue), pages. https://www.google.com/search?q=https://doi.org/xxxx

  • Book: Author, C. C. (Year). Title of the work. Publisher Name.

  • Webpage: Organization Name. (Year, Month Day). Title of page. URL

🖼️ 5. Tables and Figures

  • Placement: Insert tables and figures within the text where they are first mentioned.

  • Titles: All tables must have a title above the table; all figures must have a caption below the figure.

  • Resolution: Images must be clear (minimum 300 DPI).

⚖️ 6. Ethical Compliance

Authors must confirm that the manuscript adheres to the ARJST Publication Ethics. If the study involves human participants, a statement of Informed Consent and Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC) approval must be included in the Methodology section.
