⚖️ Publication Ethics & Malpractice Statement

ARJST is committed to maintaining the integrity of the scientific record. We follow the COPE Core Practices to ensure a transparent and ethical publishing environment.

✍️ 1. Duties of Authors

  • Originality & Plagiarism: Authors must ensure that their work is entirely original. Any form of plagiarism—including self-plagiarism or paraphrasing without citation—is grounds for immediate rejection.

  • Data Accuracy: Fabrication or falsification of data is a serious ethical violation. Raw data must be provided if requested by the editors for verification.

  • Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could bias their work.

  • Acknowledgement of Sources: Proper acknowledgment of the work of others is mandatory.

🛡️ 2. Duties of Editors

  • Fair Play: Editors evaluate manuscripts for their intellectual content without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy.

  • Confidentiality: Editors and editorial staff must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, and the publisher.

  • Disclosure: Editors will recuse themselves from considering manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest.

🔍 3. Duties of Reviewers

  • Contribution to Editorial Decisions: Peer review assists the editor in making decisions and helps the author improve the paper.

  • Promptness: Any selected referee who feels unqualified or unable to provide a timely review should notify the editor and excuse themselves.

  • Standards of Objectivity: Reviews must be conducted objectively. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate.

🚫 Handling Research Misconduct

In cases of alleged or proven scientific misconduct, fraudulent publication, or plagiarism, the publisher and editors will take all appropriate measures to clarify the situation and amend the article in question. This includes:

  1. Expression of Concern: Issued if an investigation is ongoing.

  2. Retraction: Issued if the findings are found to be invalid or unethical.

  3. Correction: Issued for honest errors that do not invalidate the research.
